FLIGHT TRAINING ORGANISATIONS – REGISTERED FACILITIES

1.1 This Aeronautical Information Circular defines the policy of the Department of Civil Aviation with regard to Flight Training Organisations and Registered Facilities.

2.1 The Department of Civil Aviation of Cyprus will accept and process applications for Flight Training Organisations according to JAR-FCL 1.055.

2.2 Applications for Registered Facilities will be processed by the Department according to JAR FCL 1.055(c) and JAR FCL 1.125 appendix 2 and 3 sub part C.

2.3 Details for the requirements for FTO and RF, can be found on DCA´s Standards Document 05.

2.4 Applications for FTO or RF´s should be submitted to the Licensing Section of the DCA using form LIC 033. Additionally the FTOs should also complete LIC 043 for the personnel of the FTO.

2.5 Both forms as well as the Standards Document 05, can all be found on the DCA´s website www.mcw.gov.cy/mcw/dca.
